One of the biggest parks in Montgomery! This 290+ acre park is a major destination for park users. There’s lots of room for whatever you have need of! From soccer games, to church picnics, miles of waking trails and even space for part time hobby airplane pilots. Take a stroll around this park and enjoy some of the best that Montgomery has to offer!


Riverfront Park

The Riverfront Park is a new expansion to downtown Montgomery. As you walk through the tunnel you discover; Riverboat rides, concerts, fishing spots, a children’s splash pad and a large grassy outdoor amphitheater. This wonderful park also provides a stunning view of the river, making it a perfect venue for family picnics, quiet evenings and sightseeing.


Lagoon Park

Located on 176 acres, Lagoon Park Trails offers miles of natural surface single-track and double-track paths for bicycling and walking, running, bird watching, and photography. Meandering through hardwood forest and pine flats, over meadows, along a creek and around a scenic lagoon, you can get an up-close glimpse of wildlife, wading birds, and water fowl.

Numerous parks make Old Cloverdale unique among Montgomery’s historic districts. At the heart of the neighborhood is its signature park, 2.5 acre Old Cloverdale Park. Just nearby Old Cloverdale Park there are 4 other smaller parks to check out; LeGrand Park, Milo Howard Park, Fitzgerald Park, and Mary Ann Neeley Park.


Oak Park Botanical Gardens

This 1880’s Historic Park is home to 40 acres of gardens, a fish pond, playgrounds, open space and numerous full grown trees. With multiple walking trails that circle the park, picnic shelters and a band stage, this is the mid-montgomery park of choice! Did you know that Oak Park was once the home to the Montgomery Zoo?
